Artist Statement : Artist Statement:
My photography focuses on my interaction with the world around me and on conceptual recreation of past memories. I utilize selective observation and manipulation to instill a sense of the romantic sublime into my work, whether photographing nature, urban environments, or abstract concepts. More specifically, I use various technologies (photography, scanning, video, painting) to capture the interaction between light, atmosphere, motion and design. I typically work in series form, endeavoring in each to fully realize each concept over time. Overall, I see myself less as an artist with a single style and more like a person with dissociative identity disorder. Creating alternate realities within each of my concepts acts as a catharsis for my pain and as a pathway towards understanding my place in relation to the sublime.

All artworks in the Cosmos gallery are original works of art, created using highly-archival pigmented inks, cotton rag paper, and india ink. These artworks come unmounted and unframed, however, we will gladly assist you with framing services at an addition cost if requested.

Each individual artwork is a one-of-a-kind creation, and no prints other than an artist proof and promotional materials will be created in the future. Because of the uniqueness of each piece, the price obviously increases over a standard print. if you are interested in multiple pieces, call or email us for a special quote.

Series Pricing : Series Information
All photographs in the Series category are produced as a limited edition of 12 total prints, on a state-of-the-art HP Designjet Z2100 pigment inkjet printer. We offer a wide variety of inkjet papers, including:
HP Collector Satin Canvas, HP Super Heavyweight Plus Matte, HP Professional Satin Photo Paper, Hahnemuhle Fine Art Baryta, and Hahnemuhle Fine Art Bamboo.

Prints also include at least a 1" white border to assist with conservation framing (not included unless requested). Every print is guaranteed to last the lifetime of the original buyer (and likely will last up to 250 years without noticeable fading if framed under glass). This guarantee does not cover water or humidity damage, commercial usage or prints framed without glass. For every 3 prints sold, the price increases $100 until the edition is sold out.

Stock Pricing : Stock Image Sales
Images found in the Stock Image Collection are offered for drastically reduced prices compared to the Limited Edition Series, mainly because they are part of an open edition. Being part of an open edition, we reserve the right to reproduce them indefinitely.
These prints are made in conjunction with our website hosting partner Smugmug and their chosen professional lab, Bay Photo. images are available in borderless prints up to 24x36 on matte and metallic photo papers. I would highly recommend the metallic photo paper for any image in the Stock image collection. But then again, it's personal preference, and metallic prints are super reflective, which some customers may not prefer.
The prints are made by the printers at Bay Photo using custom image files supplied by me. however, because I do not oversee the printing process, I cannot guarantee the prints for their quality or their archival lifetime. In my experience, the quality has never been a concern, but these prints are made using a different printing process called Lightjet printing. Lightjet printing uses LEDs to expose traditional photographic paper to light in the darkroom. Lightjet prints can yield fantastic brilliance and sharpness, but I prefer inkjet printing for the various paper types and its better archivability.
In addition to the prints, I am offering personal and commercial use downloads of the print files. This means you can download my image at high-resolution and use it for your desktop, a screen saver, or even for commercial usage.
The sizes and prices of these images will be reflected in the shopping cart, which can be found by simply clicking the "Buy" button to the top right of the images in their thumbnail layout.
